REGISTRATION

You need a library card to borrow library materials.
The library card is available for free to anyone who lives, works or attends schools in Iwakuni City.
To apply for a library card, fill out the application form and show your personal identification certificate such as an ID card, an Alien Registration Card, a Driver`s license, and a Social insurance certificate to the librarian.
You can check out library materials from any Iwakuni City library with your library card.

CHECK－OUT

Please bring materials with your library card to the lending counter. The lending periods are as follows:

Material	Number	Period
Books and magazines	up to 10	2Weeks
CD and DVD	up to 4	2Weeks

RETURN

Place the materials on the return counter.
You can return borrowed materials at any Iwakuni City libraries.
When the library is closed, please put your books and magazines into the book-post.
Audio-visual materials must be returned at the library counter.

RESERVATION

When you cannot find books you want to read on the shelf, please ask at the information counter. You can make a reservation for the book you need if the books are not available at the libraries.
